Mitered squares are uniquely created shapes made by decreasing mid-row to "bend" a straight knitted row into a diamond/square shape on the diagonal. They are used in infinitely creative ways, and have the advantage of being assembled into garments, accessories or home wares while you knit...no later seaming of a stack of squares. Once the simple shaping is learned, the creativity flows and there are endless applications and color choices.
In the class you'll learn to knit and assemble mitered squares into larger fabrics. Knitted samples and model garments will be showcased to give finished examples. Attendees will knit samples in class and there will be handouts provided with patterns, class notes and instructional images.
