The Friends of The Library welcome Sam Weller (Associate Professor, English and Creative Writing Department) who will discuss and sign copies of the new edition of Listen to the Echoes: The Ray Bradbury Interviews (Hat and Beard Press, 2017).
Sam Weller is the authorized biographer of Ray Bradbury and a two-time Bram Stoker Award winner. He is the author of The Bradbury Chronicles: The Life of Ray Bradbury (William Morrow, 2005), and Listen to the Echoes: The Ray Bradbury Interviews (Melville House Publishers/Stop Smiling Books, 2010).
Listen to the Echoes: The Ray Bradbury Interviews is the definitive collection of interviews with this American icon, illustrated with photographs of Bradbury's home, and decades of his accumulated possessions by photographer, Zen Sekizawa. This edition also includes a new final chapter by Weller about Bradbury’s legacy since his death in 2012, and essays by Margaret Atwood and Frank Darabont.
This program is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
