Tour takers will gather at Boyd Plaza with local historian and author John Sherrer of Historic Columbia. John will share his extensive knowledge of the block's history and each of the four buildings visited on the tour — the Columbia Art Center, Hotel Trundle, The Grand and Lula Drake Wine Parlour. Most stops of the tour will have wine and snacks available or provided.

On the tour we’ll be joined by interior designer Anna Dis Sveinbjornsdottir of Pond & Company, who created interiors for the Columbia Art Center and Hotel Trundle, as well as Hotel Trundle owner Rita Patel and plaster artist Lauren Dillon of Master of Plaster who created a piece for the boutique hotel. Suzanne Bullock will be on the tour representing The Grand. At the final stop, proprietor and head sommelier Tim Gardner will provide a historic tour of Lula Drake with wine and snacks provided by Lula Drake. The tour will close in the Pastor’s Study at Lula Drake with a give away of two copies of John’s book, “Remembering Columbia.”

Tour is limited to 30 participants. Current CDL members will be given first priority and can RSVP from now until until March 22. On March 23 any available spaces will be made available to the public for $15.00 each. Please wear comfortable shoes as this is a walking tour.
