For our 4th year running we will be having dinner church to celebrate the Thursday before Easter, known as Maundy Thursday. This is one of our most beautiful and experiential worship services that we do at Common Ground. We gather in the coffee shop which is rearranged to reflect a 1st Century Mediterranean dining room. We will eat homemade modern Palestinian and Lebanese food (hummus, fresh baked pita, and things like that.) We recall that Jesus did his ministry around tables, sharing life with people. We integrate communion into this setting (like Jesus did) and then serve as Jesus served.
RSVP because it helps us know how much food to make. Invite your friends. Come ready to eat.
