#var:page_name# cover

Since the dawn of time we have been gathering around a campfire to share stories for entertainment, to further our understanding of the world and to gain a better understanding of ourselves and each other. Nature based storytelling is a unique way of inspiring people to venture into the beautiful outdoors with an open mind in search of magic and wonder. Join us for a day of magical stories and nature activities in a beautiful woodland and discover how to bring an ancient form of magic into your work with young people.

During the day we will:

Understand why storytelling and nature connection are essential forms of engagement in our modern lives.

Begin to understand how stories have the power to draw people outdoors with a sense of wonder and reconnect them with nature

Discover and learn how to tell new stories and lead nature based activities in your own setting

Realise the power of the outdoors to make the most reluctant writer put pen to paper

Reviews from our previous events

Amy Neylon - 5*

"Thank you to Danny and the team for the incredible storytelling session yesterday. It was so inspirational hearing about how storytelling can be woven into forest school, and the setting, food and company were wonderful.

I am so looking forward to using what I have learnt with the children I work with.
Thank you again!"

"I really enjoyed myself today listening to Dan's incredible stories amongst a welcoming and enthusiastic audience. He really puts his heart and soul into it which has left me feeling enthused and wanting to apply myself to more story telling/ creating/ writing.... To go above and beyond and really capture the 'magic of childhood' in my Forest School endeavours as Dan does so well.
I was very well looked after from start to finish thanks to the Communitree team and hope to cross paths again.
Thank you for such an inspiring day."
