I would like to invite you to attend an event that I am hosting in partnership with Community Living Huntsville called a “Celebrating Inclusion Tour”.

Together, through stories, we hear of the impact of their work and the contributions people with developmental disabilities make in our community and how this relates to community, inclusion, values, goals and connections. I attended a tour and found it to be an eye-opening experience. I didn’t know much about Community Living and how they serve this community. However, after attending this tour, I came to realize the organization is vital to the success of a growing community. I was able to meet interesting people who didn’t let their disability prevent them from achieving their goals and how Community Living helps them get there.

You are welcome to bring your friends, colleagues or family to this event. To RSVP please contact me at melissa.candelaria@cogeco.com or call 705-644-9842.

This is an exciting endeavor that Community Living Huntsville is embarking on to help increase community awareness of the services provided and the population they serve and to increase their profile within the community of North Muskoka.

The tour will be on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at Community Living Huntsville- 99 West Road, Huntsville, Ontario P1H 1M1- in the “Old Stone Schoolhouse”

The ‘tour’ is low key and in a comfortable atmosphere. This is not a fundraiser- it is a community awareness opportunity. The tour is about sharing information. Attendees will learn about Community Living Huntsville and hear stories from people and about people who receive service from Community Living Huntsville, and how that service has impacted them and their families. The tour is about one hour in length.

Our hope is that each person who attends a tour will have a better understanding of the work that Community Living Huntsville does and that you will share this information with their own network of connections. You are encouraged to invite your family, friends, neighbors, coworkers and colleagues to attend with you.

I look forward to hearing from you and will follow up with you in the coming weeks. Please let me know if you are able to attend the “Celebrating Inclusion Tour”

Thank you
