Time to “Tile Tango” with Contra Costa’s Guild of Quilters at their annual Quilt Show. The name this year is derived from traditional meets modern quilt designed by Becky Goldsmith called "Tile Tango". The drawing of this handquilted keepsake occurs at 3 pm on Sunday. There will be well over 150 beautiful quilts on display at the quilt show made by members for quilt show guests to enjoy. There will be the popular Country Store (great prices on fabrics and other goodies), quilt treasure hunt, a "Dotty" and quilt "Telephone" challenge showcases, and mix of vendors.
With the theme of mixing modern and traditional quilting, the Featured Artist this year is Anelie Beldon, author of “The Modern Dresden”. She will have choice pieces from her collection and will also be presenting a demonstration at 1 pm on foundation piecing without applique on both Saturday and Sunday. Price is included with weekend admission of $10.
