This 1 hour physiotherapy class, created by our resident, Physio, Natasha, who has a special interest in women's health, ensures that you receive the appropriate advice, information, exercises and education to prepare your body throughout and after pregnancy to optimise your experience and prevent unwanted pain.
This one off session will cover;
How to care for your backs, pelvis and pelvic floor muscles throughout your pregnancy
How to specifically strengthen your core and perform mobility exercises
Watch live demonstrations of optimal positioning and postural guidance, lifting and bending techniques
The management of pelvic girdle pain (PGP or SPD)
Small intimate classes, to allow for questions, interactions and demonstrations
As well as provide you with up to date Information booklets covering all of the topics covered during this session, for you to take home (in case ‘baby brain’ kicks in) ensuring you have everything available to refer to at any time.
