The CAC and New Orleans public art and history project Paper Monuments ask visitors to submit written and artistic responses to the question, "What is a person, place, movement or event you believe New Orleans should remember?"

As part of Sarah Morris: Sawdust and Tinsel exhibition, stop by the theater to view “By Invitation Only.” Following the screening will be a conversation with the filmmaker Rebecca Snedeker and Andrea Andersson, Ph.D., The Helis Foundation Chief Curator of Visual Arts about culture, place, and politics.

As New Orleans celebrates its Tricentennial, Stephanie McKee Anderson (Junebug Productions), Neil Barclay (Contemporary Arts Center), Frederick Delahoussaye (Ashe Cultural Arts Center), Heidi Schmalbach (Arts Council New Orleans), and Rebecca Snedeker (New Orleans Center for the Gulf South) come together to reflect on arts and culture and imagine the city’s next 300 years.
