CBS Volunteering is taking part in CBSs first event to celebrate the 17 UN Global Goals. On the day, we will be hosting various food waste organisations that tackle Goal 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production. Come and join us to discover how food waste impacts Copenhagen, and how much money it is costing us every year!
WHAT CAN YOU GET? We will be hosting 2 events. From 11:30, come and pick up a delicious bag of left over produce, supplied by Foodsharing Copenhagen. At 13:30, we will be serving delicious snacks made from food waste, by our friends at Rub & Stub.
A competition will be running for the whole day, with the prize supplied by GRIM - come and find out how good ugly food can be!
WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT FOOD WASTE? If food waste is such a big problem, can you event make a difference? Come by our stand and sign up to volunteer at one of our partner organisations. Maybe you're interested in delivering food to disadvantaged communities, or maybe you want to hand out food at a food sharing event? Maybe you want to pick you own ugly vegetables at a local farm?
Come by the CBS Volunteering stand, located outside of Nexus, on April 11th to find out about food waste, and how you can minimise your own impact! See you there.
