Mindfulness practice begins with paying attention, coming fully into awareness here and now. Then we naturally open to new possibilities for connection, both within ourselves and with others.
In this daylong retreat, we will practice listening — to our bodies, to our fellow human beings, and to our environment. From the place of deep listening, we will explore responding with respect and care for the authentic, vibrant connection that life offers us. We will feel our way into the possibilities of giving and receiving, both inwardly and externally.
The program will consist of guided meditations including sitting, standing, reclining, and in movement. Guided exercises in dyads and small groups will also be offered. There will be periods of silence and time for discussion.
