Gallery 2: Dosshaus "Paper-Thin Hotel"
Dosshaus is premiering their most ambitious installation to date at Corey Helford Gallery on April 7: a flop-house hotel (a la the iconic Chelsea Hotel) with every piece of furniture, every decoration and random item- even the outfits and accessories the artists will be wearing- made entirely out of recycled cardboard and hand-painted to look like a black & white illustration. The exhibit will comprise of hundreds of individual pieces, everything from beds to windows, jukeboxes, music boxes, even tissue boxes and much more.
Gallery 3: Alessia Iannetti, Erika Sanada and Tarntara Sudadung
Corey Helford Gallery will proudly premiere the new works of Alessia Iannetti, Erika Sanada and Tantara Sudadung in Gallery 3, curated by Caro Buermann. Iannetti, Sanada and Sudadung are leading surrealist artists who hail from around the world. Collectively, this 3-woman show tackles the sacred, anxiety and narrative in surrealist figurative paintings and sculptures.
