East Vancouver artists Beastie and Mary Matheson are joining forces with Cumberland singer/songwriter, Seraphina Mountain and piling into her Westy! The three will be slinging their sultry folk weirdo tunes up the coast of Vancouver island as well as on Pender and Salt Spring. Come get your ears charmed off!

Beastie
Born and raised in Vancouver BC, Beastie recorded her first demo at 15 and has been a professional singer/songwriter for over 15 years, with a wide variety of styles of gigs in Canada, Central America, the US and Europe. Her performance style is intimate and sincere – An often eccentrically costumed blend of blues, old country, soul, folk and heartbreak with a sense of humour. She is currently working on a new album set to be released in the coming year.

Seraphina Mountain
Plucking a ukulele from the front seat of a 88’ Westfalia, Seraphina Mountain grew from the artist roots of Salt Spring Island. Inspired by the vast oceans and towering mountains, an element of the west coast and whimsy can be found within their music. Often a two piece but also performing as a solo act, there is a dynamic quality and sometimes haunting feeling that follows the band’s sound. www.soundcloud.com/seraphinamountain

Mary Matheson
Mary is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Vancouver BC. She has dabbled in music since she was a small child and now performs beguiling blues-folk originals and cover tunes on guitar. Mary has caught the ears of a community of music lovers with her intricate finger picking guitar style and raw liquid vocals. For this tour she will be joined by Jenna Materi on banjo Kayla Gagne on violin, and Keith Rodger on Upright Bass.
