Cortes on the Wild Side!!!
Cortes Museum invites you to a weekend celebration on the wild side of Cortes Island at Linnaea Farm Education Centre during Earth Day weekend, April 21 and 22, 10 am – 4 pm both days.
Wild Cortes Opening Ceremony @ 2 pm Sunday, April 22, with tea and decadently wild desserts!
This exciting new exhibit gallery gives a permanent home to the well-loved Wild Cortes display curated by taxidermist Laurel Bohart. Selections from our past natural history exhibits also include Celebration of Manson's Lagoon from 1998 and refurbished Bats from 2010.

Beware of wild animals at large on the farm as FTCCIS youths dress up as their favourite Cortes wild thing for competition all weekend!
Cortes Museum has partnered with Friends of Cortes Island (FOCI), Forest Trust for the Children of Cortes Island Society (FTCCIS), Discovery Islands Ecological Mapping (DIEM), Linnaea Farm Society (LFS), and 3 local biologists to create this dynamic interpretive exhibit to inspire and support environmental education on Cortes Island.
OPEN HOUSE all weekend at Linnaea Farm, 1255 Seaford Road, come out to peruse at your leisure and meet the partner organizations each with hosted table exhibits.
