A whole food plant based (WFPB) lifestyle has been scientifically-proven to help people achieve ideal weight and prevent and reverse many chronic diseases, including heart disease, cancer, diabetes, neurological disease, stroke, arthritis, and more. In this course, we will cover the harms caused by foods typically contained in the American diet and learn how they contribute to chronic disease. We'll also review the 10 WFPB food groups and discover how they work in our bodies to prevent and fight chronic disease. Several classes will include wholesome and delicious meals that exemplify the health-promoting principles of this lifestyle.
