The Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a special meeting on Monday, April 9 at 9 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss proposed cannabis cultivation and manufacturing ordinances, and weigh recommendations of the Santa Cruz County Planning Commission. During the meeting, the public will have additional opportunities to comment on the proposed regulations.
The meeting will not include a final vote on cannabis regulations. Instead, the Board is expected to give further direction to County staff as it finalizes the proposed regulations. An initial vote on the revised regulations could come later this month.
The meeting will be held in Board Chambers, 5th floor, 701 Ocean St., Santa Cruz, 95060.
