Scottish singer Rhona Jones hails from Wigtown and is well known for her beautiful lead vocals and harmonies. Rhona performs as a duo with her husband Nathon and also with the Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival band who perform regularly in the region.
Nathon Jones sings and plays resonator and acoustic guitar, 5-string and Irish tenor banjos and has performed at festivals throughout the UK and Ireland including the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow. He also performed music for the Katie Morag BBC television series as well as guesting on albums by Old Blind Dogs, Norrie MacIver, Laura-Beth Salter, Al Price and Huey Dowling. He is the Founder and Festival Director for Newton Stewart & Minnigaff Traditional Music & Dance Festival and is very well known for his passion for music.
Rhona and Nathon perform a mixture of their own material combined with traditional folk, americana and bluegrass songs that everyone knows and loves.
