Learn the importance of well-designed spaces and understanding of the poetic language of drawing. Explore techniques in observation and complex compositions to establish a well-designed drawing, which is an important first step in painting a masterpiece.
Drawing paper pad, 17 x 14 inches Conte crayons, black or sepia
Two-day workshop held March 24 & 25, 2018. The withdrawal deadline is one week prior to the workshop.

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Edson Campos has enjoyed sketching and painting since childhood. Completely self-taught, he moved to the United States in 1978 and was quickly recognized for his artwork. An award-winning artist, Edson has exhibited his lifelike paintings and drawings at major cities throughout the country. His pieces have been published in magazines, art exhibitions, and purchased for private collections. Edson has been commissioned to provide the artwork for all 500 rooms in the Queen Mary Hotel in Long Beach, California.
