CCAA will host it’s 9th
International Food Night
featuring traditional items from our various families.
on Friday, April 27 @ 6-8 pm
All family members who make items will receive parent involvement hours credited toward their CCAA child for all the time spent making, shopping, delivering, setting up, cleaning up, and being there to answer questions about the food items brought. Your family will also receive up to 5 complimentary admissions to the event because you are providing food. You are encouraged to display your recipe or any unusual ingredients contained in the item (especially for allergy purposes). Former Culinary Arts and other students may be attending to learn about the items presented for a make up field study day. Anyone not supplying food must purchase admission to attend at $3 each. The money raised will go towards purchasing plates/napkins/drinks, etc. for the event.
Food items should be served pot-luck, buffet style so everyone who attends can sample everything and should be set up by 5:30pm.
Other parent involvement opportunities:
Extra Workers: Set up, clean up, supervise food tables, check in tables, cashier, etc.
Donations of silver, purple and black plastic table clothes and balloons, plates, cups, lemonade, ice, utensils, napkins
To sign up: email or return the attached portion of this flyer to Mrs. Corben at Walerga
Remember our charter school relies on its families to help make our events happen—to make us the school we are! Every CCAA family committed to participating a minimum of 30 hours to help our school function when they applied to be a part of our charter school. Thank you for honoring that commitment by helping at, donating items for, and participating in events such as this one!
