The demands of modern society are relentless; with never ending to-do lists, deadlines and long work hours...we are literally running ourselves into the ground!
The effects that this rat-race has upon our bodies are severe, however most people are simply unaware of the damage stress has upon our physiology. In fact, most people do not even realise that they are suffering from sympathetic dominance, which is chronic activation of your fight or flight nervous system.
This is why we are running this event! The UN-stress Project.
This event will cover following topics:
- The role of movement and posture upon your physiology
- Strategies for mindfulness and how meditation can help
- How to bio-hack your physiology to combat stress related disorders
- Supplement and nutritional advice for increasing energy and improving sleep quality
If you are having problems with focus, gut issues, low mood or energy problems…. Then this is the event for you! We recommend wearing gym gear so you can partake in our live movement and meditation demonstrations on the day.
Also, we will ask for a small donation to the Australian Spinal Research Foundation, which we will collect on the day of the event.
