Are you interested in doing an Armando style show? Are you already doing an Armando style show? You're probably doing it wrong!
In The Armando Class, students will focus on scenic long-form improvisation through the use of the correct Armando Diaz style format. Students in this course will learn the theory behind how to make a strong and clear scene initiation, with a focus on identifying a comedic game (or pattern) within their scene. Honest character-work is essential to this approach of spontaneously creating comedic scenes. As always, in the tradition of the CSz style, The Armando Class maintains a focus on having fun and improvising from a place of joyful risk-taking." Duration: 8 weeks with a showcase performance on May 30th.
