Entertaining friends and family should be easy and fun. That’s exactly what you’ll be saying after tonight’s fun and informative class taught by experienced culinary instructor, Chef Jackie Wilson. You’ll learn an easy, yet impressive, menu, with a French Bistro twist, which features several dishes that can be made well ahead of your next dinner party so that you can actually enjoy your guests instead of juggling pots and pans in the kitchen.
You’ll get to help prepare some of tonight’s dishes as Chef Jackie opens her vast store of cooking and presentation knowledge and teaches you essential culinary skills and cooking methods to help make any dinner party a breeze.
Our perfect French-inspired menu starts with the perfect ice-breaker appetizer, Swiss Cheese Fondue with French bread (Ramequins a Fromage) that your guests will enjoy sharing as they mingle. Next, you’ll learn to make a beautifully presented French Carrot Salad. Our delicious menu will feature Chicken with Cream Sauce (Poulet a la Crème) as the centerpiece, with perfectly-paired sides such as Rice with Onions and Fresh Thyme, and Petits Pois et Latue! You’ll need to come to class to find out what this awesome dish really is! Did we mention that you’ll also learn to make a fabulous dessert, Prune Armagnac Clafouti with Whipped Cream? Oui Oui!
Don’t let the fancy titles fool you. This is one of those menus that’s easy to prepare with an elegant presentation that you’ll want to recreate again, and again! And, yes, you’ll get to tie on an apron and help Chef Jackie prepare some of tonight’s dishes, too! Voila!
