Can you really make a living income as an artist/musician/actor/creative professional? If so, what does it take to be successful?

Creative Waco is bringing part 1 of this cutting-edge, inspiring, and award-winning program from Mid America Arts Alliance to artists in Waco. This is a unique professional development opportunity that addresses the business needs and challenges artists of all disciplines face. It's based on tried-and-tested research from the University of Missouri–Kansas City (UMKC) Innovation Center.

The 2.5 hour program covers the essentials of arts entrepreneurship and is suitable for anyone who is (or wants to be) a self-employed artist, musician, dancer, designer, actor, film-maker, etc. This is also a taster session for the larger "Artist INC" curriculum, which has been a transformational opportunity for artists across the USA. We think it could be a great chance for Waco's creative professionals to experience this inspiring and very practical dive into "what works".

Price includes buffet dinner plus information about resources for arts entrepreneurs in the Waco and McLennan County areas. This would normally cost $75, but thanks to grant funding, your total cost will be $25.98.
