Tell the Board Of Governors: Time to end the strike!
Tuesday, March 27th, 3:30pm
In front of Richcraft Hall
We are inviting all our members to come out to a protest at the upcoming Board Of Governors meeting.
We will be sending the message, loud and clear, that it is time to end this strike, and the way to do this is for them to get their greedy paws off of CUPE 2424's pension protection.
It has now been three weeks of this strike, with no dates set to resume talks. Throughout the strike the university has sent multiple disingenuous messages and flat out lies about the state of bargaining, and what they are trying to do to CUPE 2424. The community has stood proudly behind 2424's workers and organized many solidarity pickets and rallies, as have other unions and groups across the city. Students and workers have been united and vocal in calling on this administration to bargain fairly and stop these attacks on pensions. It is time to take our message directly to the Board Of Governors and reiterate what we have been saying: Hands off of CUPE 2424's pension! Respect workers and students! Get back to the bargaining table! End this strike! T
