When it comes to professional upholstery, diamond tufting is universally recognized as a custom, skilled technique. And yet, it’s more approachable than one might expect!
In this one day, hands-on workshop, participants will work through all the steps and stages for planning and creating a simple tufted panel from scratch. From concept to completion, we’ll explain the math, theory and process behind this beautiful, timeless technique. Students will complete two samples in class.
This class is appropriate for all skill levels - whether you’ve been too intimidated to try tufting without guidance, or you’ve dabbled on your own and are looking to refine your technique.
Knowing the basics will help you talk to your clients and approach new projects with confidence.
Students must bring 2 yards of fabric for each sample piece. All other tools and supplies are provided.
