Megan Rae is not your average nineteen-year-old girl-next-door. She’s the girl-next- door who can really deliver a country song with emotion, power and grace. With a vocal maturity far beyond her years and a remarkably unusual ability to turn a phrase, listeners are immediately reminded of Linda Ronstadt, Trisha Yearwood, a young Patsy Cline or even Loretta Lynn when experiencing Megan Rae’s dynamic and traditional country voice for the first time.
Megan Rae’s knack for interpreting a song, (like Ronstadt), was recognized early on and she quickly caught the attention of famed producer, Robyn Robins (of Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band fame). Robins spread the word to peers in rock and country and a team of renowned artists and songwriters eagerly appeared on the scene to write and record for Megan Rae’s debut album sessions in Nashville and Michigan.
