Are you interested in Ukrainian "super star" meal - BORSHCH? Want to try to cook it yourself?
15 local ingredients will unite in one pot (big enough for 12 participants): we will prepare them properly, boil and fry in a correct order and in aprox. 2 hours our Borshch will be ready.
To make it 100% authentic we will also bake Pampushki: special type of bread that is served with Borshch and garlic-dill sauce.
We will cook a vegetarian version of it and I will also explain you, how to make a carnivore one, if needed. If served without sour cream it will be vegan. You have the free choice.
If there is anything left, it may be distributed among participants and taken away. Just in case, please bring glass or plastic containers with you.
BONUS: introduction into Ukrainian cuisine including its regional peculiarities, historical development, seasonal features etc. I can talk about this without any break!
