New trail to WADI EL ASWAD with DALE CORAZON - LEBANON EXPLORERS

This time we will enjoy a hike with special combination: Ammouaa Reserve- Wadi El Aswad, a trail of our ancestor, perfect weather conditions and beautiful peaceful scenery.


HIKE LOCATION : Wady El Aswad - Qobayat forest - Norhern Lebanon
In the north, from 1600 and 1300 meters above sea level.
WHEN : Tuesday, 01 May, 2018
ENCOUNTER PLACE : Mar Abda Church parking facing the ex-bridge, Jal El Dib, @ 7:30 AM.
FEES : 40,000 LL per person including transport, professional guides, insurance, 5 minutes warming up, stretching and pictures.
WHAT TO TAKE : Take some light snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruits. Pack your backpacks with lunch, water, cap, sunglasses and sunscreen. Don't forget to get a jacket. Wear comfortable walking shoes, preferably hiking shoes (Professional brand is recommended). DC members get a 20% discount on sports equipment in Sports 4 Ever branches.
There will be a breakfast stop along the way.

DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

This time we will go walk on a beautiful trail and visit Wadi Al Aswad (the Black Valley). Our hike will start in Qammoua, on a trail known as Tariq El Ingliz. We will walk altogether as one group on that trail, and then hike in the Black Valley.
HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous
The intermediate level 4 will continue to the Sanam trail for approximately one hour and a half.
As for the advanced level 6, it will continue to Juwar El khiem, and walk for almost three hours and a half.
The hike will take place on an altitude that varies from 1600 and 1300 meters, with almost 500 Downhill.
At the end of the event, we will go back to Beirut, we may stop in Batroun to drink fresh Lemonade.

Note: All Ecotourism Rules should be followed included Safety regulations. Otherwise all accidents will not be recognized by the insurance. And occasionally, due to reasons beyond our control, slight modifications to the event may occur.
