We are pleased to announce the second of our 2018 manipulate Visual Theatre Festival masterclasses, led by the internationally renowned puppeteer and performer, Agnès Limbos.
Agnès Limbos, from the internationally acclaimed Cie Gare Centrale, is presenting a masterclass exploring the relationship between actors and objects.
"Object theatre works with objects, but not in a puppet-like way. The object becomes a source of inspiration; it is moved rather than manipulated. There isn’t a puppeteer behind the object, but an actor who breathes life into the object." Agnès Limbos (read the full interview here)
By utilising participants imagination and curiosity in both individual and collective exercises, the masterclass will explore how actors and objects work together on stage, and the various ways objects can be manipulated before an audience, whilst encorporating the actor.
