We are pleased to announce the first of our 2018 manipulate Visual Theatre Festival masterclasses, led by the internationally renowned puppeteer and artistic director, Eric Bass.

Actors tread the boards of the stage, but what are the boards of a puppet's performance world? How can those boards become an asset to the puppet?

Moving away from utilising puppets on flat surfaces, such as tables, this masterclass will explore the possibilities of creating relationships between your puppets and the terrain in which it walks and explores.

The term "table-top puppet" may never be the same.

Dates and times of masterclass:

Saturday 27th January - 2.00pm - 6.00pm
Sunday 28th January - 10.00am - 5.00pm
Monday 29th January - 9.30am - 4.30pm

To take part in the masterclass please note:

Wear clothes that allow you to move easily
Avoid wearing accessories that may dangle
Wear sensible shoes, such as trainers
