This 5 week course is suitable for children in Years 6-11. The tween/teen years can be challenging!
Young people will be taught techniques to enable them to deal more effectively with the pressures they feel both at school (e.g. exams, workload, high expectations) and at home (e.g. friendships, peer pressure, social media, self-image). Young people will become aware of ways they can manage their anxiety, anger and self-doubt.
Through age-appropriate activities the children learn how they can step away from fixed negative thinking whilst recognising the benefits of having a more positive outlook.
Our weekly Chill Skills session is an opportunity for children to relax, unwind and be themselves.
Cost is £25 per child for the 5 week course.
