Come join us for the 6th Annual Flower Photo Stroll at the Daniel Boone Native Gardens starting at 9 AM on Saturday, June 9, 2018!
This free workshop is designed to help novice photographers capture the best images possible of plants and flowers anywhere. You do not have to have a fancy camera (cell phones work just fine) nor any prior experience in photography. Just bring what you have and a desire to capture nature at its best, and remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
Activities will start at 9 AM with a short introductory talk by local photographer Bill Barbour sharing simple tricks and techniques to capture the best flower pictures with any camera. As you explore the Gardens with your camera, volunteer accomplished photographers from the Ashe Camera Club and naturalists will be on hand to assist with more technical or "what plant is that" type of questions.
