Physical Theatre Workshop by Manjari Kaul at Danza Performing Arts.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop is an integration of movement work, voice training ad theatre making skills through a process that is explorative, creative and based in seeking the joy in performance.
Movement work includes gaining awareness of body in space for effective communication and articulation. We will work on building awareness of body rhythms which will then help in creating characters.
Through voice training will investigate the relationship of breath and voice. This will also include the use of voice modulation to express varied emotions. We shall also pay attention to clarity of speech and enunciation.
Through Theatre making exercises we will attempt to understand narrative construction and plot development while also building on trust and team work skills, stimulating creativity and imagination.
End of the session class work sharing will be open to friends and family of the students.
