We’re taking a trip back to the 70s this Spring at Dartmouth Players as we rehearse their outrageous season ending show "9-5: The Musical"! Based on the beloved film classic of the same name, this campy hit is full of mayhem, belly laughs and stuffed to the gills with Dolly Parton music.

We’re looking for strong singers and actors of all 18+! Lots of roles for women in this and some really fun stuff for the fellas. There will be dancing in this show!

Please prepare a short comedic monologue (90 seconds at the most). We’d also like to hear a contemporary Broadway song that showcases your voice and your ability to act a song. You can sing acappella - but you may be asked to do a range test. You only need to prepare something with a serious country twang to it if you’re auditioning for the part of Doralee (you should also be ready to show us that you can handle a southern dialect).

Auditions will be held at Dartmouth Players on Tuesday March 20 and Wednesday March 21 from 6-9pm. First come first served. Please bring a resume/headshot if you’ve not worked with this team or auditioned for us in the last year.

Rehearsals will run Monday/Wednesday evenings from 6-9:30pm and Sunday starting at 1pm. First rehearsal will be on Wednesday March 28th.

Directed by Laura Thornton, Musical Direction by Sarah Richardson and Choreography by Ian Gilmore.
