Are you completely new to meditation? Have you tried meditation on your own and wondered, "am I doing it right?"

There are so many health benefits of meditation, such as it reduces stress and anxiety, fights heart disease, improves focus, fights depression, lowers blood pressure, slows aging, improves chronic pain, and aids in a restful sleep, to name a few.

Begin your meditation journey with Jason Blau, Founder of Sit Meditation Space as he introduces the basics of meditation and how to set up and establish a daily meditation practice that will change your life. In this workshop, you will discover what meditation is, how to get started, how to sit, what it means to “focus on your breath,” how to stop all the thoughts (hint: you can’t), and so much more.

Jason Blau is the founder of Sit Meditation Space, a guided meditation studio in Lafayette Hill, PA. Jason spent over 15 years in Medical Device sales, a very high pressure, fast paced and extremely stressful environment. Jason’s meditation journey began in early 2016 when he needed to find a way to cope with the moment-to-moment stresses of life, and to slow down. After receiving his Masters degree and becoming a dad he wanted to make a change. Since attending his first class, Jason’s passion for meditation grew and inspired him to want to teach in hopes of bringing the power of this practice to even more people. Shortly thereafter, Jason completed the Awaken to Stillness Meditation Teacher Training, which afforded him the opportunity to deepen his own practice and to gain the knowledge and tools to be able to share the gift of meditation with others. Jason is also certified to teach the practice of Vinyassa yoga and completed the Svadhayaya 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. Jason is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom his teachers have shared with him
