The WNY PRISM Spring Partner Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Reservoir State Park. WNY PRISM Partner Meetings are a great way to learn about and get involved with regional invasive species efforts. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

**This event has had a venue change to Reservoir State Park**

Featured Speaker: Dave Spiering, Conservation Project Manager, Western New York Land Conservancy.

Dave Spiering, Conservation Project Manager, will present on the Western New York Land Conservancy’s Niagara
Gorge Restoration Project, a multi-year project of invasive species control and ecological restoration on stateowned
lands in the Niagara Gorge. The project includes extensive control of woody species in an effort to improve
native plant community diversity. Target species include Norway maple, bush honeysuckle and Phragmites. After
the presentation, we will drive the short distance to the project site, where we will see the restoration efforts in
progress, and gain a great sense of the overall scale of the project.
