Prinnie Stevens is undoubtedly one of Australia’s most sought-after performers – an incredible singer, dancer, actress.
Bursting onto the scene with The Voice season 1 where successfully battled her best friend Mahalia Barnes, Prinnie made the top 4 in Team Joel and hasn’t looked back since. What you may not know is that Prinnie started out at the age of 17 in the hit musical Rent. Since then she has performed in many musical theatre shows and even landed herself a Helpmann nomination for her performance in Oh, What A Night! Prinnie spent time in the US fronting an all-girl group for Sony Music New York. Performing alongside the likes of Patti LaBelle, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige and John Legend.
Despite this success overseas, Prinnie still longed to be home, so she returned and chose to step out and audition for the TV program, The Voice. After the success of The Voice, she went on to join the cast of Celebrity Apprentice and shortly after that became Co-host on The Voice Kids season1 alongside releasing a single, EP and album with Universal Music.
Recently, Prinnie made her return to musical theatre and her London West End Debut in the hit show Thriller Live. She went on to wow audiences all over Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia with Rave reviews. This year Prinnie Starred in the hit musical The Bodyguard the musical playing Nicki Marron and had rave review throughout the country. Prinnie has stamped her name in the Australian music industry as a true triple threat and continues to build her career highs.
Drawing on her love of pop, soul and funk, Prinnie and her band will perform some of the hottest songs by divas such as Whitney, Beyonce, Rihanna, Madonna and Mariah, as well as some old school Aretha, Dianna Ross, Tina Turner and Donna Summer.
