One minute of calm breathing has the power to change our entire perspective and nervous system. Research tells us that slowing our breath to a pace of ten breaths (or even less) in one minute will stimulate our relaxation response. Who doesn't need a dose of that after driving 5 minutes around Houston?
In this workshop we will explore how to lower the stress hormone, cortisol, with a hands on approach to slowing down the breath. We will also go over practical, breath-based techniques to help you keep up with work-life hustle and temper any other chaos. It will be just the pause you need to reconnect with your own power of calm.
