We will discuss critical thinking skills and how they can be applied in a variety of situations, and we will practice problem solving individually and as a group. Finally, we will explore how these tools can be applied to improve performance on standardized college admission exams.
The seminar will be led by bookseller, Carmen Abrazado.
For the last five years, Carmen has taught test prep strategies in a variety of settings from individualized tutoring (in-person and on-line) to 200-student classes in a school auditorium. She has worked with her students to identify the specific critical thinking methods that are most readily applied to the standardized testing environment. In this seminar, Carmen will focus on generalized skills that are applicable in a variety of situations, instead of specific testing topics that have limited usefulness.
Due to the limited number of seats available, Pre-Registration by April 3rd is Required!
