Ease back into the flow of the semester with a free contemporary dance class, taught by DCX's very own treasure, Erin Lenahan!
Erin Lenahan is a senior Dance and English double major at the University of Maryland. She began her dance training at The Musical Theater Center under the direction of Debbie Clark and then as a member of the Youth Dance Ensemble at Joy of Motion Dance Center, where she studied with Helen Hayes, Elana Anderson, Kathleen Weitz, and Felipe Oyarzun. Throughout her college years, she has performed in works by Sarah Beth Oppenheim, LaTefia Bradley, Allen Xing, Maura Keefe, and Colette Krogol and Matt Reeves. Additionally, Erin serves as the Treasurer for Delta Chi Xi Honorary Fraternity. This past summer, Erin also worked with ClancyWorks Dance Company as an arts administration intern, assisting with their 11th annual Dance Educators Training Institute (DETI). She is currently in the process of choreographing a duet for the UMoves Undergraduate Dance Concert, which will premiere in May.
