Michael has over a decade of experience in government, politics, and media. As former executive producer of MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews, Michael was responsible for conceptualizing, planning and producing innovative segments. Today, he serves as the Communications Director for the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee under the leadership of Maria Cantwell (D-WA). He has been featured in Washington Life’s 2017 Young & the Guest List and Capitol File Magazine’s “13 Distinguished DC Men.”
Outside of politics, Michael was an All-American Swimmer and inducted into his high school hall of fame. He won two Junior Olympic swimming championships and received a NCAA swimming scholarship to Seton Hall University where he achieved Big East Conference Honors in the 2003 and 2004 U.S. Open.
