On May 28-30 in Norway, the Human Rights Foundation (HRF) will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Oslo Freedom Forum (OFF) and bring together activists, artists, technologists, entrepreneurs, and philanthropists to explore ways to make the world more peaceful, prosperous, and free.
Day one will take place on May 28 at Oslo's Sentralen, where we will host the opening press conference, Interactive Expo, and Tech Lab, complete with talks, fireside chats, and workshops all to explore how technology, creativity, and investment can be leveraged to advance freedom and human rights.
Day two and three on May 29 and 30 will take place in Oslo's historic Det Norske Theater, and will be livestreamed at oslofreedomforum.com.
A draft program and list of confirmed speakers will be shared soon. Please check back for updates.
The Interactive Expo will feature advocacy groups, media outlets, corporate brands, creative designers, and storytellers, who come to Oslo to offer their expertise to participants and spark new partnerships.
At the Tech Lab, industry leaders in the fields of encryption, decentralization, citizen journalism, and censorship-resistance will come together to discuss how new projects especially in the areas of cryptography, distributed systems, and blockchain can help advance personal freedoms and civil liberties.
More than 100 human rights defenders and dissidents from more than 50 countries are expected to attend this year's event where they will have a chance to meet you.
