Artist Talk: Geoffrey Holstad

Geoffrey Holstad will give a talk on his background as a designer and artist, particularly his passion for supporting grassroots environmental organizations through pro-bono design work as well as his work at Patagonia. He will give an overview of the newly launched Patagonia Action Works platform which connects individuals with organizations to encourage creative action to address the pressing issues facing our planet.

Bring a sign up sheet and connect with creatives on campus and in the area. There will be time after the talk for meeting and discussing.

Geoffrey Holstad (b. 1986, Michigan) is a plein air graphic designer and citizen meteorologist based in Ojai, California. He is a Senior Graphic Designer at Patagonia, where he also serves on the Environmental Media Grants Council. Holstad is the co-founder and director of Cabin-Time (501c3), a roaming creative residency to remote places.

This event will take place in room AD165, adjacent to the museum.
