Geoffrey Holstad will give a talk on his background as a designer and artist, particularly his passion for supporting grassroots environmental organizations through pro-bono design work as well as his work at Patagonia. He will give an overview of the newly launched Patagonia Action Works platform which connects individuals with organizations to encourage creative action to address the pressing issues facing our planet.

Geoffrey Holstad (b. 1986, Michigan) is a plein air graphic designer and citizen meteorologist based in Ojai, California. He is a Senior Graphic Designer at Patagonia, where he also serves on the Environmental Media Grants Council. Holstad is the co-founder and director of Cabin-Time (501c3), a roaming creative residency to remote places.
