Family Qoya

Space to express freely and unwind in intuitive movement gently guided through breathing, circling, shaking, free dance and simple yoga stretches.

Qoya is fun, relaxing, intuitive, free-flowing movement for all the family. We will dive into expressing ourselves… where there is no wrong and if it feel good it means you are doing right.

Everyone is welcome to come and shake their body back to buzzing…

Come with your little ones or on your own and socialise with other parents on Thursday mornings. It is a regular term-time class. You are welcome to join us for a cup of tea and a snack after class (bring your favourites).

Suggested donation: £5-£10 (per parent and child)

The musical theme this week is Happiness. We will invoke happiness into our bodies and let it flow through us freely in the movement and beyond.

About me and Qoya

Intu Expression is my commitment to spread the love through my own dance expression and co-expression in the intuitive movement with others. We have it all in us and our body knows exactly what it needs in any moment, as long as we keep on tuning into our inner knowing (intuition) we cannot go wrong. As in Qoya - there is no wrong or right - if it feels good - it means you are doing it right. And that is what I stand for - the diversified experience, the sharing of our uniqueness, when we join in the movement of embodying our: wise, wild and free essence.

Qoya is a movement system put together by Rochelle Shieck (check out some lovely videos here: http://www.qoya.love/movement-videos/)

I would love to introduce Qoya to all who are drawn to express themselves freely through intuitive movement. Qoya - means God(dess) - and serves to bring this beautiful, powerful, confident energy in us through remembering in movement.

It is based on:
- yoga as prayer teachings,
- sense of a wild we derive from our free dance expression
- and freedom from getting in touch with slowed down movement

And I am... Iga - mother, dancer, discoverer of spiritual truth, free spirit...
