For our first event of the year, the Centre with host a potluck dinner and film screening on Saturday the 10th of March, which is also Tibetan Uprising Day.
This event has the duel purpose of starting the Centre's year now that Rinpoche and Geshe-la are returning to Dunedin, and commemorating Tibetan Uprising Day. All are welcome, so please come and join us!
The potluck will start at 6pm. We will watch the film "The Unwinking Gaze" at 7:30pm. "The Unwinking Gaze" is a documentary that offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the life of Tibet's revered leader, H.H the Dalai Lama.
Also, If it is available, we will read out the Sikyong's Statement for Tibetan Uprising Day before the film.
