We're getting ready for summer - and summer wines - at DAP House!
Our April wine tasting is with Matt Corson of Coastal Beverage. He'll be sharing four new selections for $12. Want to stock up to welcome summer? Bottles are half off on Thursdays (excluding a few premiums)!
Here's what he'll be pouring...
Bodegas Navalon, Atlantique Sauvignon Blanc
100% Sauvignon Blanc. Vibrant tropical fruit and citrus aromas blend with intensely fruity and zesty flavors making this a fresh and delicious crowd-pleaser. This aromatic Sauvignon can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. It will also accompany grilled fish and Asian cuisine.
Martin Berdugo, Rueda Verdejo
An appetizing white, fresh and fruity, like the April breeze; bright yellow, like light filtering through the vineyard. It smells intense as a spring party where green shoots and petals have fun. Tasty, fruity, full of exotic touches and persistent, slightly bitter and long aftertaste. The maximum expression of the Verdejo variety, hallmark of Rueda wines.
Le Morette, Bardolino Chiaretto Classico Rosé
Light-bright rose in colour with a fragrant, fresh and fruity flavour. Its taste is delicate, with a pronounced fruited flavour, and endowed with great freshness. Its end is dry and of good persistence and these characters confirm the personality of Bardolino Chiaretto.
Jamieson Ranch, Light Horse Pinot Noir
This silky Pinot Noir showcases sumptuous sweet cherries, cherry pie, and subtle, earthy aromatics of morning dew and pine. Mouthwatering red berry flavors blossom on the palate, while supple acidity and mellow tannins contribute to the wine’s innate elegance. A hint of oak lingers on the palate, gliding the wine to a graceful finish.
See you guys on the 26th!
