This session will introduce graduate students to Tableau® software. Tableau® is a highly useful tool for data visualization, that can also help students build the analytic skills needed to succeed in graduate school and professionally. This software is available to students at the University of Miami. Graduate students from all disciplines are welcome to attend.
This session is led by Cameron Riopelle and Paige Morgan from the University of Miami Libraries. Cameron is the Data Services Librarian and has expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research. He helps students learn how to find, collect and store data, as well as how to use research software to analyze data. Paige is the Digital Humanities Librarian and her expertise includes data creation, analysis, and visualization, as well as scoping, managing, and publicizing research projects.
