Inspired by Mother Teresa's words "small things with great love," local adults and youth ministers started Mission Evansville to improve their community. The goal of Mission Evansville is three-fold:
1. To bring the love of Christ to the local community through concrete acts of service
2. To empower youth to meet the needs of their neighbors
3. To provide an affordable mission trip experience for area young people

All Corpus Christi and St. Philip parishioners should register under the group UNITE CYM (Sharon Shumate group leader).

SERVICE: Earn up to 15 service hours in 3 1/2 exciting days!
Mission Evansville serves the Evansville area in such places as:  Seton Harvest  Boys & Girls Club  YMCA Caldwell Center  Ronald McDonald House  St. Vincent De Paul  Christian Life Center  United Caring Shelter

COST: $120.00 (Max cost, discounts available)
Cost includes room & board, 10 meals, transportation, t-shirt, and all event activities.
Scholarships are also available through the Catholic Diocese of Evansville Youth & Young Adult Office. See website for details.

REGISTRATION: Mission Evansville is for incoming freshmen to outgoing 12th graders.

DEADLINES: UNITE CYM group for Youth/Adult Registration deadline is April 13th, 2018. Please contact Sharon to get permission forms, registration form and cost collected. Checks should be made out to St. Philip Church.
