SS Lake Edon, built by American Shipbuilding Co., Cleveland, Ohio in 1918 and owned at the time of her loss by U. S. Shipping Board, Cleveland, was an American steamer of 2371 tons.

On August 21st, 1918, Lake Edon, on a voyage from Barry with a cargo of coal, was sunk by the German submarine U-107 (Kurt Siewert), 4 miles NxE of Towan Head, Newquay. 16 persons were lost.
