Dawn hike in the nearby wilderness to celebrate International Day of Forests 2018 on March 24, 2018. The agenda is to hike in the silence, rather tramp in some bushes & ravine trails, experience the magic of sunlight; explore the importance of trees and forests how they nourish our mind, body and soul. This hike is designed and planned to deepen our connect with forests and raise awareness of the importance of all types of woodlands and trees around our cities.
Every year on March 21st, International Day of Forests is celebrated to signify the importance of all types of forests, and trees outside forests, for the benefit of current and future generations. The theme of this year is: Forests and Sustainable Cities. So the takeaway of this hike will be that how we make our cities & spaces more greener, healthier and happier places to live for everyone.
The location of this hike is 50 kms away from Ahmedabad, towards Himmatnagar, at Khari river wilderness area.
This hike is open to register for anybody above 12 years. Children above 7 years can participate with guardians. Hike will be followed by 25 registered participants. The trail will traverse about 8 to 10 kms in about 2.5 hours over bushy & ravine hiking trails.

Please wear comfortable appropriate clothing (strictly dark/ camo/ earthy colour) and sturdy footwear on this guided trail. Do not wear Jeans material clothing. Bring a small daypack with your drinking water, bandana or napkin, cap, a small torch-light and other personal gears you may think is appropriated. Also carry an original identification proof. If in any doubt please contact us.
Be ready to respire wilderness air and cleanse your lungs, body and soul. Jain food may be served on specific request, subject to availability. Strictly do not carry chocolates, chewing-gums, food packets, ipod/ music pods, jewelry, expensive items and unnecessarily extra currency. Avoid the mobile phones too, in order to foster more meaningful relationship with natural world.

- Cancellations prior to 10 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - 80% refund will be made.
- Cancellations prior to 3 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - 40% refund will be made.
- Cancellations less than 3 days from the start of the hike/ trek date - no refund will be given.
